ABOUT AWS

AWS Motorsport was founded in November 2017 and is primarily a family run team who are based in Norfolk.

Driver Olly Samways karted from a young age but due to education and travel commitments, never made the step up. After numerous years of working for a traffic safety company, Olly began a racing career he had always dreamt of.

Olly Samways finished 3rd in Class B within the 750 Motor Club Sport Specials race series in their first season (2018).

In 2019, Olly entered his first 24 hour race at Silverstone with a local C1 Racing team. Out of 99 entries and a hectic 24 hours, Olly and his co-drivers brought the car home in 13th overall.

In 2020, AWS Motorsport purchased a Toyota MR2 SuperGT with a 3.5L V6 as used in the Lotus Evora.

With a COVID-19 disrupted year, Olly had finishes of 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Class.

AWS Motorsport will be focused on competing within the 750 Motor Club   Roadsports race series, the BRSCC Clubsport Trophy and the C1 Racing Club 24 Hour endurance race throughout the 2021 season.
